Concert I: Sunday, 14 February 2016 @ 3:00 p.m.

The Grand Handel — The Chorus Shines!
Music for the Spirit — Unknown Sacred Chorus Works of Handel and The Magnificent Dixit Dominus! HWV 232
My Song Shall Be Always HWV 252, I Will Magnify Thee, O God HWV 250b and an Organ Concerto in D minor Opus 7 #4, HWV 309 played by Jason Moy!

Concert II: Saturday, 20 February 2016 @ 7:30 pm

Concert III: Sunday, 6 March 2016 @ 3:00 pm

Giulio Cesare in Egitto HWV 17
This production of Giulio Cesare is in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the acclaimed City Opera’s (in New York) 1966 production by Julius Rudel which catapulted the young Beverly Sills to international stardom. This production, which we are reproducing, almost single-handedly guaranteed that Handel's operas would be heard by modern American audiences! Join our beloved Kimberly McCord as Cleopatra with a stellar cast including Handel Festival family favorites Philip A. Kraus, Michelle Wrighte, and Noah Gartner!

Our festival concerts feature:

  • Music in one of the most acoustically perfect venues in the area
  • For Concerts I and III: Free pre-concert lectures beginning @ 2:15 pm and post-concert receptions with the artists
  • Concert II is cabaret-style concert: Intimate tables with free refreshements. Artists provide commentary on performance
  • Free lighted parking in adjacent lot
  • Free admission for children & teens between the ages of 8-18
  • Free babysitting available
