A glorious afternoon of virtuoso music awaits you! Early in Handel’s career, he wrote some splendid virtuoso sacred music for Soprano and Orchestra. There is no better Baroque music advocate to present these marvelous works than the golden-throated Josefien Stoppelenburg, an early music specialist. We have paired this with Johann Sebastian Bach’s incredible cantata for Soprano and Clarino Trumpet, Jauzet Gott in allen landen B.W.V.51 a marvelous work! This, program includes the presentation of not one, but two of Handel’s unique Organ Concertos including the beloved, “The Cuckoo and the Nightingale” played by virtuoso David White.
